Harry Potter AND THE SORCERERS STONE By: J. K. ROWLING

What if you were a boy who was mistreated by your aunt and uncle? You think your  life will never be different, but your life will eventually change. When Harry was a baby his parents died by the dark wizard who must not be named.  After he is dropped off at his uncle and aunt’s front porch and they don’t care about him. When he turns eleven years old mysterious letters start coming to his aunt and uncle’s house inviting him to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a wizarding school where you can get invited to. Once Harry arrives at Hogwarts he is placed in the Gryfandorf house and makes two friends, Hermione and Ron. There are 4 houses in Hogwarts and Gryffindor is one of them. There is also Hufflepuff Slytherin and Ravenclaw and they have a competition for the House cup. You earn points by doing good in school. You lose points by making trouble. But not soon after strange things happen like the troll. Sometime before Halloween professor Quill came in scared telling all the students and teachers there’s a troll in the school. All the students are moved to their common room and the teachers start looking for the troll. Harry and Ron go looking for Hermione because she was crying in the girls bathroom. They find  the troll and deafest it and get in trouble for not going to their common room. That was not the only strange thing but there was the broom jinxing, during the Quidditch match Gryffindor versus Slytherin someone was jinxing his broom making  go haywire near the end he gets the snitch  which is worth 150 points and Gryffindor takes their first win against Slytherin. These are problems for Harry because it was strange that they were happening and a bigger plot is going on. Harry and his friends go on a mission to find out who was doing these things.

If you liked Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone you’ll like the book Ghost by Jason Reynolds, very much. The reason why these books connect is because the main character in both these books can’t seem to keep out of trouble, and Harry also struggles to keep out of trouble. The book Ghost follows the main character Castle and his objective is to be the fastest runner on his elite track team. Will ghost become the fastest or will he always be behind the person that is faster than him right now? Find out by read the book Ghost by Jason Reynolds, but make sure you read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone by J.K Rowling first!
